GVR AMIGOS MEN'S CLUB

From the Club President

Welcome to the website of the Green Valley Recreation Amigos Men's Club. We were formed in 2017 as a GVR social club for men based on the GVR Amigas Women's Club. Our main purpose is to make new friends and take part in various fun and exciting (as well as educational) activities.

We have "Meet and Greets" on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 9am at the GVR East Center. Have some coffee and a donut as you get to know your fellow Amigos in a low key, social atmosphere. After a short business meeting, we usually have a guest speaker give a presentation and/or demonstration on a topic of interest.

Member Breakfasts are held 9am on the 1st Saturday of every month at Madera Sunrise off of La Canada Dr. and Esperanza Blvd. (formerly Old Chicago Deli). We also have monthly "Out and About" day trips to a local point of interest, attraction, event, activity, or tour. 

The most popular part of the club are our Special Interest Groups based on various member interests. New groups are forming all the time. Some current interest groups include: Billiards, Birding, Book Club, Couples Activities, Fitness, Poker, Shooting, Shuffleboard, and Wine Tasting.

We welcome you to come and visit one of our monthly meetings and/or breakfasts to meet some of our members and learn more about our club. If you decide to join, the annual membership fee is only $15 and a club nametag is included upon joining.
